Thanks again to everyone who helped move the high jump mats/standards, hurdles, and blocks out of the gym today. One less thing to worry about!
Normal practice tomorrow, outside unless you see anything posted on the locker rooms to indicate otherwise. Anyone who did not receive a uniform last week needs to see me at the start of practice.
As for Wednesday, looks like as of now it'll be chilly but not too rainy. Here's the order of events, and schedule
2:45 - Athletes need to be outside to help set up.
By no later than 3:10 - Lanes 2-5 need to be set up with the 400 meter hurdles at the white lines (approximately 40m apart, so there's 2-3 per straightaway/curve), Lowest Setting
Field Event athletes responsible for their own set up, though we need help with High Jump Mats.
3:30 - Meet starts
Girls 400 Hurdles....afterwards we need to raise the hurdles to the middle (3rd of 5) setting
Boys 400 Hurdles...afterwards we need to pull the hurdles off the track, set them up on the turf field along the main straightaway
