Two Wins, Five Qualifiers in the Season Opener despite the sleet!

So, little secret. Most coaches love to "talk shop" at the finish line, particularly as it drags on. Toward the end of the meet, when the 2 milers were wearing leggings AND jackets, we started asking each other if they ever saw kids run in tougher conditions. None of us - not even Coach Ryan! - could remember such weather.

A HUGE thank you to all that helped the meet run so smoothly. We started at 3:40 and were done by 5:45, and you all were extremely brave to withstand these conditions.

We'll have our friends from Millis - big thanks to them as well! - back at some point this season to contest the discus, which is still under snow. So the score isn't final, though we did clinch a win on each side.
