Big numbers at Frosh/Soph meet for Panthers!!

This past weekend, many of our underclassmen competed at the Freshman Sophomore meet in Norwell.  Here are some of the Highlights with a HUGE thank you to your Throwing Coach Manny

results in order of finish:

Brooke Geoffroy won the high jump and broke the meet record which was held by our own Kylie Lorenzen at 5'3.5"
Bella Bergloff was 2nd in the Discus - broke the meet record at 108'3" - unfortunately a sophomore also broke it and beat her toss!
Becca Stevens was 2nd in the High Jump
Sean Keast was 3rd in Discus
Carter Mikkelsen - 4th in 800
Cameron Connell - 5th in Discuss (PR 115'8")
Henry Dolan - 5th in 400
Sean Keast - 6th in Javelin
Bella Bergloff - 7th in Shot put (PR 29'10.5")
Gwen Freeley - 7th in 400
Carter Mikkelsen - 8th in Mile
Luke Campbell - 9th in 400 Hurdles
Cam Connell - 10th in Shot put.

Other throwing notes from Coach Manny: Scott Elliott PR Throw of 84'11 in Discus 34'3 in Shot Megan Forman PR throw in Discus 55'10 Rayna Coburn good throws in Discus and Shot Put Jay Fisher nice throw in Javelin in the muck.

Here are Coach Manny's comments about the meet:I could not be happier with their performances considering it was a miserable rainy day. Everyone of them stepped up and many of them had PRs Throws.  This is the Future of Holliston High School Track & Fields Throwing Team. I am very excited and proud to have the opportunity to work with these fine young athletes for the next few years (BY THE WAY - I HOPE THE ATHLETES UNDERSTAND HOW LUCKY THEY ARE TO HAVE COACH MANNY CONTINUE TO COACH AFTER KELLY HIS DAUGHTER GOES TO COLLEGE!!
