At our "home away from home" in Pembroke - site of the Eastern Mass Division 3 Meet on May 31st - we had some solid performances at the Division 3 Relays.
The boys 4x100 got things started, running 47.44 to take 22nd in their field, a decent time considering they can still improve some of the handoffs.
The girls 4x800 had run 10:19.83 at the Coaches Invite, and the quartet of Madison Ward, Katie Salley, Alexis Mejia, and Sydney Snow lowered their time by 4 seconds today and earned a medal by finishing in sixth in 10:15.98! Not bad considering all twenty teams ran together.
The girls 4x400 closed out the day, and despite being in the second-fastest section, finished fifth overall in 4:11.27, which I believe is the second fastest time in school history behind the record time of 4:09. Eve Bagley, Helen Dolan, Anna Foster, and Kylie Lorenzen now have the fastest time by a TVL team this year, too.
If your season is over and you still have not turned in your uniform, either find Coach Moreau during the day or Coach Kelley after school. Banquet is June 12th (it's on the "Schedule" part of the blog)
Students will be dismissed at 1:30 for the TVL Meet on Wednesday.
